Welcome to my cabin. I design. I create. I am frugal. I have two children, Trinity and Grant and husband of 13 years, Brian and two Golden Retrievers. I am always striving to better myself and this cabin is the same. My husband and I have remodeled homes and even custom built our last home doing most of the work ourselves. After moving into our custom home, my husband longed to have a home with more land. When we found out that a family friend was selling their cabin with 4 acres and a small pond, we drove by and my husband instantly said he wanted it. I on the other hand love to take on new task and I could see the potential but first we had to sell our recently built custom home. In today's market I wasn't sure that would be an easy task. After only a week for sale we already had an offer on the table. That offer did not come through but in less than 4 months, Chateau Edwards was sold. I truly for the first time in my life, let go of control and gave it up to God. If it was meant to happen, it would and somehow everything fell into place. We have been her a year and half and recently my own employment was moved. I again feel like I am in the place where I am letting go of control and laying it before God. This has been a very hard process for a woman like me, but I am thankful we sold our custom home not so long ago. The situation might not be the same if we had choose a different path.
